Arrival in Kathmandu Airport (1,400 m)

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, our airport representative will meet you outside the terminal, displaying our company signboard. You will then be transferred to your hotel in a private tourist vehicle. A pre-trek meeting will be scheduled on Day 01 or 02, depending on your arrival. During this meeting, you will be introduced to your trek leader/guide and have the opportunity to ask any questions about the trek. We will provide you with a trek duffel bag and cap. Please bring your passport, three passport-sized photos, and a readable copy of your travel insurance. We will also ask you to sign a legally binding trip form and a non-liability disclaimer. Guided Sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley

After the pre-trip meeting and breakfast, we begin the sightseeing tour at 8:30 am, with a private vehicle and professional tour guide. Our first stop is Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist shrines in the world, where we can observe monks in prayer at the surrounding monasteries. Next, we visit Pashupatinath Temple, Nepal’s most famous Hindu temple, located along the sacred Bagmati River. Here, we may witness sadhus meditating, pilgrims bathing, and funeral pyres burning on the ghats. We also explore Bhaktapur Durbar Square, known for its impressive pagoda and shikhara-style temples, including the Lion Gate, Golden Gate, and the Palace of Fifty-Five Windows. The rest of your day is free for exploration or shopping in Thamel. Overnight at a star hotel.

Fly to Lukla (2,804 m) and Trek to Phakding (2,610 m) - 3 Hours

We start with an early morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, offering stunning views during the 35-minute scenic journey. Upon arrival at Tenzing Hillary Airport (2,804 m), our guide will brief us and introduce the porters. We then begin our trek towards Phakding (2,610 m). After landing, there’s time to explore Lukla village while our Sherpa crew organizes the trekking gear. We begin our descent towards the Dudh Koshi River, joining the main trail to Namche Bazaar, passing the small village of Ghat (2,550 m). The walk is easy, and after a short climb, we reach Phakding. Overnight at a guesthouse with all meals included.

Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,441 m) - 5.5 Hours

As we trek along the Dudh Koshi River, we cross several suspension bridges adorned with colorful prayer flags, enhancing the journey’s spiritual atmosphere. The path takes us steadily up towards Namche Bazaar, the vibrant heart of the Khumbu region. Known as the Gateway to Everest, Namche Bazaar is a bustling trading hub with excellent facilities, including comfortable hotels, restaurants, and pubs, as well as cyber cafés for communication. The village offers a blend of modern conveniences amidst breathtaking mountain scenery. We will spend the night at a guesthouse, where breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided, ensuring a restful stop before continuing our adventure.

Namche Bazaar Acclimatization Day

We’ll spend a day in Namche Bazaar to acclimatize and adjust to the altitude. Our trek will take us to a museum dedicated to the Sherpa people, where we can learn about their rich culture and traditions. Afterward, we’ll hike up to Syangboche Airport and the Everest View Hotel, one of the highest hotels in the world. From this vantage point, we’ll be treated to spectacular panoramic views of the Himalayas, including the mighty Mt. Everest. This day allows us to rest while immersing ourselves in the stunning landscapes and Sherpa heritage. Overnight at a guesthouse, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3860m) - 6 hours

Today, we’ll enjoy breathtaking views of Khumbi La and Taboche throughout our trek, so be sure to dress warmly as the cold winds sweep across the trail. Midway, we’ll encounter a fork in the path with two options – we’ll take the left trail. Our journey continues through the small settlement of Phorste Thanga, where a few houses and lodges can be found. After some hours of walking, we’ll arrive in Tengboche, a Sherpa village with tourism as its main source of income. The highlight here is the Tengboche Monastery, the largest and most significant in the region, with Ama Dablam towering in the backdrop. Overnight at a guesthouse, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

After breakfast, we begin our trek towards Dingboche, covering 9.1 km on an easy downhill trail. The path is wide and lined with beautiful rhododendron trees, offering a pleasant walk. After crossing the Imja River bridge, we reach Pangboche, where stunning landscapes unfold before us. The trail above Pangboche provides breathtaking views of the Himalayas and the Pangboche Monastery. As we continue towards the Imja Valley, the scenery only gets more spectacular, and we finally arrive in Dingboche, a popular stop for trekkers. Dingboche Acclimatization and Rest Day

Dingboche is a popular stop for trekkers and climbers heading to Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, or Imja Tse. This small Sherpa village, with a population of around 200, is a peaceful haven in the mountains. It boasts a helicopter landing pad, an internet café using satellite technology, and even one of the world’s highest billiard parlors. From Dingboche, you can enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding Himalayas. A short hike up Nagarjun Hill offers even more breathtaking panoramas of the region’s towering peaks. This serene spot offers a perfect place for acclimatization and rest. Overnight at a guesthouse, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Dingboche to Chhukung (4750m), Climb Chhukung Ri (5,546m) – 7 hours

Today’s trek takes us on an up-and-down journey through the stunning landscape. Along the trail, we pass traditional farms and stone fences, and venture through the Imja Khola Valley and Bibre, a yak herding area. After a short walk, we reach Chhukung, where we’ll enjoy a lunch break. Following lunch, we’ll head towards Chhukung Ri Peak, a moderate climb that takes around 4-5 hours. This is a perfect option for beginners as it’s less technically challenging. From the summit, we are rewarded with incredible views of Ama Dablam and Amphu Labcha peaks. After soaking in the breathtaking scenery, we return to Chhukung for the night. Overnight at a guesthouse with breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Cross Kongma La pass (5535m), Trek to Lobuche (4940m)- 8 hours

Today’s trek is a challenging 8-hour climb to the top of Kongma La Pass. There are two routes: one starts northwest of Chhukung over the Nuptse Glacier moraines, and the other begins back at Bibre, following the trail above the Niyang Khola. As there are no hotels, shops, or teahouses along the way, we will carry our own packed food and water. Upon reaching the summit, we’ll be greeted by colorful Buddhist prayer flags and breathtaking views. After soaking in the scenery, we head north of the Khumbu Glacier towards Lobuche. This will be an unforgettable day, with a packed lunch provided during the trek. Overnight at a guesthouse. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included.

Lobuche to Dzongla (4830m)-4 hours

From Lobuche, we begin our descent and, after a few hours, the trail divides. We take the right path towards Dzongla, passing distant stupa and tombstones along the way. Continuing upwards, we are treated to stunning views of Chola Tsho Lake. The trail leads us further, crossing the Chola Khola river on a bridge, before finally reaching Dzongla. This beautiful stretch of the trek offers scenic landscapes and serene surroundings. After arriving in Dzongla, we rest and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this charming village. Overnight at a guesthouse. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included.

Trek to Gokyo (4800m) Via Cho La Pass (5368m) - 8 hours

We begin our trek early, around 4-5 am, to cross the challenging Cho La Pass before midday, as the weather can change rapidly. The route is tough, with steep, loose rocks and the potential for snow and rockfalls. Despite these challenges, the view from the top of Cho La Pass is breathtaking. Afterward, we descend towards Gokyo (4,790 m), passing through Khara, Pangka, and the Ngozumpa Glacier, the longest glacier in Nepal. Along the way, we enjoy stunning views of Kantaga and Cho Oyu. Upon reaching Gokyo, we explore the area, which features a series of six lakes, with Gokyo Lake being the third. We’ll spend two nights here, enjoying sightseeing and hiking. Climb Gokyo Ri (5483m) – 3 to 4 hours

We begin our day with an early, steep climb to the top of Gokyo Ri, standing at 5,483 meters. The effort is well worth it, as the summit offers breathtaking views of the stunning Gokyo Valley, the vast Ngozumpa Glacier, and an incredible panoramic scene of the entire Khumbu Himalayas. From this vantage point, we can see the towering peaks of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu, Cho-Oyu, and Gychung Kang. After soaking in the beauty, we descend and return to our guesthouse for the night. It’s a rewarding day with unforgettable views and the perfect opportunity to reflect on our remarkable journey. Trek to Lunden (4300m) via crossing Renjo La Pass (5340m) - 7 hours

Today, we begin our trek early in the morning on a long yet manageable trail. The highlight of the day comes as we reach the top of Renjo La Pass, where we are greeted by an awe-inspiring view of Mount Everest towering in the distance. After taking in the breathtaking scenery, we begin our descent towards Lunden, where we will spend the night. The journey today offers stunning landscapes, with panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. Upon reaching Lunden, we can relax and reflect on the day’s adventure. Trek to Thame (3800m) - 4 hours

After breakfast, we begin our trek, mostly descending towards the village of Thame. Along the way, we are treated to breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks. As we approach Thame, we visit the Thame Monastery, situated about 150 meters above the village. This picturesque monastery is nestled on the hillside, offering a serene view of the surrounding valley. The monastery is a spiritual hub for monks and laypeople, and it is the site of the Mani Rimdu festival, which takes place annually in mid-May. After exploring, we continue our journey to the village. Overnight at a guesthouse, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Thame is a peaceful, traditional Sherpa village, largely untouched by the crowds heading to Everest. It is home to one of the oldest monasteries in the region and is famously the birthplace of Apa Sherpa, who has summited Everest an incredible 21 times. The trek today is relaxed and scenic, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains as we wind through forests along the side of the canyon. After a short and easy descent from Thame, we reach Namche Bazaar, our final destination for the day and the trip. Lukla, with its lively atmosphere, is the perfect place to relax before your departure. You can also visit the serene Garden of Dreams for a peaceful retreat. This day also serves as a spare for any flight delays due to weather, ensuring you have flexibility in your schedule. In the evening, we will treat you to a farewell dinner at a traditional Nepalese restaurant, where you’ll enjoy delicious local cuisine along with cultural performances. Dingboche to Chhukung (4750m), Climb Chhukung Ri (5,546m) – 7 hours

Today’s trek takes us on an up-and-down journey through the stunning landscape. Along the trail, we pass traditional farms and stone fences, and venture through the Imja Khola Valley and Bibre, a yak herding area. After a short walk, we reach Chhukung, where we’ll enjoy a lunch break. Following lunch, we’ll head towards Chhukung Ri Peak, a moderate climb that takes around 4-5 hours. This is a perfect option for beginners as it’s less technically challenging. From the summit, we are rewarded with incredible views of Ama Dablam and Amphu Labcha peaks. After soaking in the breathtaking scenery, we return to Chhukung for the night. Overnight at a guesthouse with breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Cross Kongma La pass (5535m), Trek to Lobuche (4940m)- 8 hours

Today’s trek is a challenging 8-hour climb to the top of Kongma La Pass. There are two routes: one starts northwest of Chhukung over the Nuptse Glacier moraines, and the other begins back at Bibre, following the trail above the Niyang Khola. As there are no hotels, shops, or teahouses along the way, we will carry our own packed food and water. Upon reaching the summit, we’ll be greeted by colorful Buddhist prayer flags and breathtaking views. After soaking in the scenery, we head north of the Khumbu Glacier towards Lobuche. This will be an unforgettable day, with a packed lunch provided during the trek. Overnight at a guesthouse. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included.

Lobuche to Dzongla (4830m)-4 hours

From Lobuche, we begin our descent and, after a few hours, the trail divides. We take the right path towards Dzongla, passing distant stupa and tombstones along the way. Continuing upwards, we are treated to stunning views of Chola Tsho Lake. The trail leads us further, crossing the Chola Khola river on a bridge, before finally reaching Dzongla. This beautiful stretch of the trek offers scenic landscapes and serene surroundings. After arriving in Dzongla, we rest and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this charming village. Overnight at a guesthouse. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included.

Trek to Gokyo (4800m) Via Cho La Pass (5368m) - 8 hours

We begin our trek early, around 4-5 am, to cross the challenging Cho La Pass before midday, as the weather can change rapidly. The route is tough, with steep, loose rocks and the potential for snow and rockfalls. Despite these challenges, the view from the top of Cho La Pass is breathtaking. Afterward, we descend towards Gokyo (4,790 m), passing through Khara, Pangka, and the Ngozumpa Glacier, the longest glacier in Nepal. Along the way, we enjoy stunning views of Kantaga and Cho Oyu. Upon reaching Gokyo, we explore the area, which features a series of six lakes, with Gokyo Lake being the third. We’ll spend two nights here, enjoying sightseeing and hiking. Overnight at a guesthouse. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included.

Climb Gokyo Ri (5483m) – 3 to 4 hours

We begin our day with an early, steep climb to the top of Gokyo Ri, standing at 5,483 meters. The effort is well worth it, as the summit offers breathtaking views of the stunning Gokyo Valley, the vast Ngozumpa Glacier, and an incredible panoramic scene of the entire Khumbu Himalayas. From this vantage point, we can see the towering peaks of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu, Cho-Oyu, and Gychung Kang. After soaking in the beauty, we descend and return to our guesthouse for the night. It’s a rewarding day with unforgettable views and the perfect opportunity to reflect on our remarkable journey. Trek to Lunden (4300m) via crossing Renjo La Pass (5340m) - 7 hours

Today, we begin our trek early in the morning on a long yet manageable trail. The highlight of the day comes as we reach the top of Renjo La Pass, where we are greeted by an awe-inspiring view of Mount Everest towering in the distance. After taking in the breathtaking scenery, we begin our descent towards Lunden, where we will spend the night. The journey today offers stunning landscapes, with panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. Upon reaching Lunden, we can relax and reflect on the day’s adventure. Overnight at a guesthouse, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided.

Trek to Thame (3800m) - 4 hours

After breakfast, we begin our trek, mostly descending towards the village of Thame. Along the way, we are treated to breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks. As we approach Thame, we visit the Thame Monastery, situated about 150 meters above the village. This picturesque monastery is nestled on the hillside, offering a serene view of the surrounding valley. The monastery is a spiritual hub for monks and laypeople, and it is the site of the Mani Rimdu festival, which takes place annually in mid-May. After exploring, we continue our journey to the village. Overnight at a guesthouse, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Trek to Namche Bazar (3440m) - 4 hours

Thame is a peaceful, traditional Sherpa village, largely untouched by the crowds heading to Everest. It is home to one of the oldest monasteries in the region and is famously the birthplace of Apa Sherpa, who has summited Everest an incredible 21 times. The trek today is relaxed and scenic, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains as we wind through forests along the side of the canyon. After a short and easy descent from Thame, we reach Namche Bazaar, our final destination for the day and the trip. This vibrant town, known as the gateway to Everest, provides a perfect ending to our adventure. Overnight at a guesthouse, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Finally, we return to Lukla, where our trek began, bringing a sense of accomplishment as you reflect on the incredible journey you've just experienced. The return trip offers a chance to relax and unwind, and also gives you time to explore the town, which will feel very different after the adventure in the mountains. Lukla, with its lively atmosphere, is the perfect place to relax before your departure. This marks the end of an unforgettable trek through the stunning Everest region, where memories of towering peaks and serene landscapes will stay with you forever. As we enjoy the final glimpse of the majestic mountains we’ve just trekked, a 35-minute scenic flight takes us back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you’ll be greeted by our representative and transferred back to your hotel, where you can relax and reflect on the unforgettable journey you’ve just completed. After days of intense climbing and trekking, today is a well-deserved rest day. Take the time to relax and rejuvenate with a soothing massage, or take a leisurely stroll around the vibrant streets of Thamel to pick up souvenirs. You can also visit the serene Garden of Dreams for a peaceful retreat. This day also serves as a spare for any flight delays due to weather, ensuring you have flexibility in your schedule. In the evening, we will treat you to a farewell dinner at a traditional Nepalese restaurant, where you’ll enjoy delicious local cuisine along with cultural performances. Your guide(s) and office staff will join you for this memorable evening. Overnight at star hotel.
